Osama on Twitter

As everyone already knows, last night marked one of the most important American accomplishments of our history. Obama interrupted regular programming at 11:35 pm, announcing the death of Osama Bin Laden. Instantly, news spread all over twitter and facebook- statuses expressing the excitement and patriotism that we have in this country. Even though this was such an amazing achievement, some people took this news to the next level stating some extremely rude and derogatory comments. Within a few minutes of the news surfacing, people on twitter started directing their tweets towards some made up twitter account claiming it was Osama Bin Laden. I personally think that it is extremely disrespectful that someone would create an account like that and tweet things such as “Getting tired of the new cave , maybe I should move now. Or should I wait until all the hype goes down ? #osama#osamanation #osamanotdead.” Americans do not realize what is funny, and what is getting out of hand. I think that this is just a tiny example of the disrespect that has occurred ever since last night. You can be happy that this monster has been put to rest, but know your limits.
