MVP out 6 to 8 weeks

It was during yesterday’s game against the Tigers where AL MVP Josh Hamilton broke his arm on a head first slide into home plate where he was tagged out. Hamilton said it was a stupid play and he shouldn’t have done it. It was a pop up in foul territory and as it was being caught the third base coach for the Rangers told him to go because no one was covering home but Hamilton didn’t think he could make it and something bad was going to happen. Hamilton was right as he got hurt on the play and now will miss the next six to eight weeks due to that play which will weaken the Rangers offense and can only hurt the Rangers going forward into the season.
