Trio of Yankees make Top 50 Prospects list

The New York Yankees the most recognized team in all of sports is looking towards a bright future of winning championships with the development of three players in their minor league system that cracked the top 50 prospects list . This trio is led by young catcher Jesus Montero who is ranked 9th on the list he is considered a great hitter but needs to work on his ability behind the plate the Yankees are so high on him that they moved long time catcher Jorge Posada to DH and are giving Montero an opportunity a chance to win the starting or backup catching job in spring training. The next member of the trio is young catcher Gary Sanchez who is only 18 years old and has only played in single A  he hit .353 in single A which gave him the rank of the third best catching prospect in the game. The final member of this trio is 20-year-old southpaw Manny Banuelos who is ranked number 35 on the list he is ranked as the 10th best left hander coming up in the game the scouts are raving over him he has a great fastball which he commands well with a high velocity as well as a curveball and change-up that have been considered quite good-by scouts. He will be starting the 2011 season in double A Trenton. With this trio of prospects in the Yankees system the future of the Yankees is looking good as they try to continue their winning ways.
